Since this is my first blog, I decided to talk about Pantone’s Colour of the Year.  Pantone named Marsala it’s Colour of the Year for 2015.  Marsala is like a dusty burgundy shade or for some, simply a shade of maroon.  To me, the colour is like a 90’s Throwback since I recall wearing a lipstick and liner in this shade back in my high school years. Yup, do the math and you can figure out what my age is.

“A naturally robust and earthy wine red, Marsala enriches our mind, body and soul, exuding confidence and stability,” noted Leatrice Eiseman, Executive Director of the Pantone Color Institute™. “Much like the fortified wine that gives Marsala its name, this tasteful hue embodies the satisfying richness of a fulfilling meal while it’s grounding red-brown roots emanate a sophisticated, natural earthiness.”

Since I am so passionate about fashion and beauty, I have collected various Marsala inspired make-up products to hook-up my female blog readers.  Aside from that, I made sure that all the make-up products I featured in this blog are available here in Canada.  For our Sephora fans, Sephora & Pantone have teamed up and released an official Marsala make-up selection.

But a woman can’t go out with make-up alone.  Here are 5 different ways to wear the 2015 colour of the year and also see how other women have incorporated this colour in their everyday wear. It can go from spring to winter depending on what you wear it with.  Now, get styling ladies!
